About Dao & Jeed
Dao and Jeed have worked together since a young age, continuing their family’s craft in gem and stone setting. After years of hands-on experience, from home practice to working in jewelry companies, they now run their own small workshop.
Their studio is one of only two in Chiang Mai still using traditional Thai stone-setting techniques. Every setting is done by hand, with a focus on precision and care.
Their work may stay behind the scenes, but it’s what holds each piece together.

Dao and Jeed play an essential role in Kaparti pieces, helping prepare ceramic and glass fragments so they’re ready for assembly. From shaping delicate forms to refining the edges, their craftsmanship ensures each component fits smoothly and holds securely.
